We want to help everyone retire in a world worth living in. Arnie is the new 401k built like a brokerage account. Buy and sell stocks directly, own crypto, and divest from issues like fossil fuels. Out of the $7B currently in 401ks, almost none of it is controlled by the people it’s intended for. We want to change that, and give every employee ownership over their own future.

Arnie is a VC-backed fast-growing startup founded by two sisters. Our team is close-knit and extremely supportive of curiosity, mistakes, and new ideas. We’re looking for a Chief of Staff who can help us scale from 0 to 1 and become a core part of the early team.

✌️About the role

You will work closely with the founding team, and act as the CEO’s right-hand person

• You should feel comfortable jumping from project to project and balancing tasks accordingly
• Feel comfortable with internal admin (legal contracts, financial projections, fundraising)

You will be the point person for solving problems

• You should get excited about finding solutions to problems you’ve never seen before. Undefined challenges will come up all the time, so identifying the appropriate resources and tasks to find a solution will be key. This could mean finding a new service-provider, a new data set, or a new team member.

You will keep us all on track

• Streamlining internal processes and ensuring all team members and stakeholders stick to timelines will be a daily focus
• Maintaining and owning the team’s knowledge database so that you can always refer to a prior project or contact
• You will be the go-to person for the team to ensure we are able to work efficiently so task management and daily check ins will be vital
